Tracie was born and raised in Bladen County. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated in 1995 with a degree in Journalism. Tracie went on to attend Campbell University School of Law, graduating in 1998. She is licensed in NC and SC and has focused her practice on the litigation of a wide variety of liability cases in North Carolina and South Carolina, with an emphasis on construction litigation, professional liability, personal injury, premises liability, and workers’ compensation cases. She has tried jury cases to verdict in both State and Federal Courts and also has extensive experience at all levels of workers’ compensation litigation.
Tracie lives in Wilmington and is married to Cortney, also a Bladen County native. They have 2 daughters, Marley and Dylan and are active in Pine Valley United Methodist Church. Tracie is a firm believer in giving back to the community, and community service is a part of her family life. As co-founder of Scarves in the Port City, Tracie helps collect and distribute scarves to the homeless during inclement weather. She is an active member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, South Carolina State Bar, New Hanover County Bar Association and Horry County Bar Association..
